Farmers and SMEs in the agri&food sector have a great potential to reach lower-income communities in their surroundings with nutritional products and in a profitable way. In my career I have focused on understanding and building the capacities of farmers' organisations, processors and agribusinesses in East and West Africa. I have assisted various stakeholders to grow their capacities and improve their business strategies to increase availability, accessibility, affordability and acceptability of safe and quality food on local markets.
