Nazava Water Filters is a social enterprises that provides an attractive, simple and safe ceramic household water filter to the 150 million Indonesians earning less than US$ 7/day. Nazava enables households to purify their well, tap or rain water without the need to boil or use electricity. The purified water is 3x cheaper than boiling and 9x cheaper than buying water. Nazava Water Filters are sold through our network of 108 resellers (61% women) through all Indonesia.

Nazava Water Filters are sold through a network of agents that introduce the water filters in their communities. The agents not only sell the water filers, but also provide training and education on the importance of safe drinking water, water related diseases, water treatment options and the related costs.

Nazava is found by Lieselotte Heederik and Guido van Hofwegen. They both have extensive experience in financial and project management, capacity building, international development work, social entrepreneurship and gender issues.

Nazava sells household water filters through a network of 108 agents spread over 38 locations in Indonesia. Our main source of income is from the sales of water filters.

Nazava provides the 150M Indonesians that earn less than $ 7/day with access to safe drinking water at 3x the costs of boiling and 9x the costs of buying water. We work with 108 agents of which 60% are women. Through the sales of Nazava water filters they are able to earn additional income. Nazava also reduces CO2 emissions.
