B2B sales raised Tilapia in open contract with a Uganda based off-taker/processor. 2nd line of income is iFF impact trading in which we support smallholders with access to inputs and support.

Inclusiveness

We involve low-income groups as consumers. We involve low-income groups as producers. We involve low-income groups as employees.

Phase 1: co-venturing model is set to grow production units (cages) where each production unit provides employment/co-ownership of the company to local people (on average 1.5 person per production unit). In this we aim at vulnerable people (women) and subsistence fishermen that have more and more problems to generate income from fishing in the Lake

We involve low-income groups as consumers. We involve low-income groups as producers. We involve low-income groups as employees.

Plan is to grow to 100 production units = at least 200 people employed in wave 1 and in wave 2 aim to grow at least with another 400 units = at least 400 people. From wave 2 we plan to invest either ourselves or with the partner customer to address low-income customer with fish products. For this we are building on lessons from R&D from a Mozambique food-processor/partner. More info can be found in the info memorandum.
