Frontier Markets

Frontier Markets is a last-mile distribution company focused on increasing access to high quality clean energy solutions to rural poor in India. We convert existing retailers into solar sales point and link them to trained women in marketing, sales and after-sales service. Since 2011, we have created 500 retail points, trained 200 women, and sold 8600 solutions ranging from solar lanterns to pico systems in Rajasthan.

We work with all rural households in the supply chain - local field staff are employed by rural villages, solar retail points are local rural retails trained and converted, women are trained as solar sales and service agents, and our end customers are serviced and sold products that are all in rural areas.
