An increasing number of businesses have the desire to create a positive impact on global development challenges. The so-called inclusive businesses seek to address the global challenges of poverty in a way that is also profitable. For years we have been supporting businesses that want to tap into the inclusive business world. This year we provide special support to Nordic Businesses through our Inclusive North project sponsored by Rising North.
Here are some opportunities for your Nordic Inclusive Business:
- The Inclusive Business Accelerator (IBA) platform is a free platform providing an open innovation platform that can help connect your business with a global network of social innovators, business coaches, impact investors and businesses. Over 300 ventures, 30 investors and 200 advisors are already on this platform, and we are encouraging more to join from the Nordic region.
- The Inclusive Innovation Tour and Factory (ii2030) is a two-day event in Berlin this October that will bring together innovators from corporates, startups, the public sector, NGOs and science to create solutions for a more inclusive society by 2030. It includes an Inclusive Innovation Tour to explore the innovation scene in Berlin, a Meet & Greet networking dinner, highly interactive co-creation labs drawing on design-thinking methodologies to prototype solutions for ecosystem challenges, and much more.
Is your venture an Inclusive Nordic Start-up?
If your venture is an Inclusive Nordic Start-up, you can apply to be one of the 10 exceptional Nordic Start-Ups to be awarded a free entrance and optionally exhibit your venture in ii2030, worth €500 sponsored by Rising North. Getting the opportunity to make a strong impression with potential partners and customers, meet experts and leaders of inclusive business as well as to gather new ideas and insights. We are specifically looking to support Inclusive Start-Ups or Scale-Ups that have already achieved produce-market fit and are looking to expand their operations outside the Nordics.
