Together with our local partner B-Space, the IB Accelerator has organised its second meet-up to connect people who are interested in the theme of ‘inclusive business’  – this time in Kampala, Uganda on Monday 7 September.

Around 35 participants from different organisations, such as Unreasonable Institute East Africa, SIDA but also local companies such as Sparkles Water, The Portico and Chanja Datti attended the meet-up, where the IB Accelerator was presented to the local community of social entrepreneurs.

The coming months will be used to further operationalise the collaboration between IB Accelerator and B-Space and start activities on the ground. As B-Space Managing Director Peter Masaaba indicated: “We are at the right time in the development of B-Space organization to start concrete activities together with the IB Accelerator. They can bring interesting insights on inclusive business into the collaboration, and we have the local network and the local support structure to bring Ugandan inclusive businesses to the next phase!”
