The Inclusive Business Accelerator Program successfully organized a training course on Inclusive Business Tools and Services in Maputo, Mozambique. A total of 10 service providers and 4 SNV staff had their skills developed, based on a participative and practical approach. View pictures of the training.

The 3-day training was carried out from 28-29 July with the main objective of strengthening Business Development Service providers (BDS) in order for them to become preferred suppliers of advisory services for IB Accelerator clients. The training also provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and developing value propositions for services taking into account SME necessities and the Mozambican context.

The BDS providers had the opportunity to be introduced to the tools, understand how they can add value to advisory services and to practice with the tools by applying them to fictitious cases and assignments.

Inclusive Business toolkit
The Inclusive Business toolkit will help the local consultants to scale up current support to more businesses while using less resources and increase the impact of supported IB ventures.

The IB Accelerator supports its clients by working with certified consultants. The trained consultants are now IB Accelerator fellows, and they have completed the first step towards certification.
