The IB Accelerator Vietnam has been launched this week during the Inclusive Innovation Forum in the capital Hanoi. Three members of our team presented the plans on stage and many entrepreneurs visited the IBA booth to get know more about the services offered.
About 250 participants from different Vietnamese regions, as well as international visitors, attended the conference where entrepreneurs showcased their products and where new findings where presented on the stage. At our IB Accelerator booth we interacted with a large number of entrepreneurs who showed interest in the local services and the opportunity to register their company on our online platform.
Inclusive Business Accelerator Vietnam (IBA Vietnam) is managed by the Netherlands Development Organisation SNV, and organisation with 20 years of operation in Vietnam. SNV has achieved high reputation in poverty alleviation with sustainable market based solutions. The IB Accelerator is the first one-stop shop in Vietnam for full services needed by entrepreneurs to achieve profitable sustainability in their inclusive business ventures.
The target customers for the local services are SMEs, large corporations and MNCs who want to expand the market share in the Vietnamese BoP market with sustainable approach, ie; including the low-income population in their value chains There is a focus on the following sectors: Agriculture, Energy, Water, Technology/ICT-based Innovations that are cross-cutting, and Aquaculture. The target companies have been operational between 1-7 years and the program the IB Accelerator offers runs for 9-12 months.
