This is the fifth and final publication of series on inclusive business. The series is based on experiences and insights from the implementation of three seperate innovation pilots. These pilots form the Three Pilot for Pro-Poor Innovation (3P4PPI) program. Together with our partners, we capture learnings from the pilots, to improve the quality and enabling environment for future pilots.

The BoP Innovation Cycle represents the iterative phases of the process of developing inclusive product and service innovation. Developing innovation at the Base of the Pyramid requires a specific approach. The cycle goes from identifying an opportunity to bringing it to scale. Key business dimensions of a BoP venture are developed over the course of each phase.
